Other then the RAM it isnt that great. I was planning on doing a full upgrade last year but I couldnt upgrade the power supply because my computer was made by IBM and has a wierd sized case and they dont make a more powerfull power supply that fits in it. So all I could upgrade was the RAM.
My CPU is only 2.0 GHz but I do have 1.5GB RAM not sure it will make much of a difference but It sounds like for Civ4 the more RAM the better. Since it sounds like It will run (possibly slowly) Ill be getting Civ4 soon.
I dont have the min requirements (32MB video card:( ) but the demo will run fine on this computer. Does that mean the full version will even though I dont meet the min specs?
Somewhere here someone used a plugin for milkscape to export and replaced a unit with a large red sphere. you might be able to do the same thing. I would mess around a bit but I havent got Civ4 yet :(
Ive heard ridge racers (currently the most power demanding game) played and max volume/brightness gives you just over 5 hours. Some of the simpler games played at lowest volume/brightness will give you over 7 hours.
Then it wouldnt really be a canoe would it. The size is a little big but making it was a pain and I dont really want to do half of it all over again. Someone else could probably resize it fairly easily though.
