Hmm, i'll give it a go i'd like to think I know what i'm doing considering that's what I'm being payed for. Anyway I'll give it a go and I'll probably post in here what I removed and if it still worked OK for people to see in future.

My graphics card is on board and far from the best (as is the rest of my pc come to mention it) but it can play the game fine, but the video's which run when starting the game up etc. seem to take an age to load.
Is there any way I can disable these from running? I have thought about...
What about the result for a select East Midlands rival of mine last night!
Fair play to them though for beating United, as long as we beat them in the next round of the FA Cup :D.

I presume you are using Windows? I'm not sure of how to do this on Windows however if your using Linux then I can let you know of a way of doing this...
At my local store in the UK (Gamestation) there is literally 3 half shelves of PC games, of which most seem to be Sims2 & Expansions.
Whereas when it first opened there was 2 full size sets of 4 shelves dedicated to PC games, there is also a ridiculous amount of copies of pre-owned games on...
Prepare for a really n00b question here, but how do I make unit's defend other unit's for example if I have Catapult's how can i make Horsemen defend them when they get attacked?

Boomsie - Completely right, there is too much randomness in the different leaders personality traits, I mean i'd like to go into a game knowing that if i stumble across Ghandi he's likely to be peaceful with me etc.
I cannot see this happening 6 month's after the release of this game, they are probably already well into production of CivRev2 now, so I cannot see them going back to add a map editor to CivRev.
