I'm following your instructions verbatim, map is invalid. I can't select the map, nor can I even load it on the map editor.
Is the lack of the corporate headquarter buildings intentional so as to balance the game better?
I've noticed inflation carries over when you switch civilizations, so its actually a handicap to switch over.
This works great, the gaming is using far more than Windows Vista, around 1.2-1.3 gigabytes just upon the start of the scenario.

Quick question, is Aleppo supposed to have mining? It seems to be the only city with mining and there is no capital for it.
Just found out you can't get buddhism, but you can get Taoism. :) The oracle can help to give you a head start with that and science.
