Long since given up here. The DLCs were really disappointing and frustrating in terms of design, at least for me.

I think it got worse for many, myself included, with each DLC and expansion pack that came out.

Is this pack not included in New Frontier? I bought the pack immediately on steam but it doesn't seem to indicate that I have the Byzantium & Gaul pack.

I completely agree with you on this. NFP feels like cutting room floor fan content so far. Not that there aren't some of the best modders in the world for Civ, but still.

Hittites make the most sense. Might be fun to see Sumeria but that's even older than the "Old World" setting. Since Rome is in the game it would be cool to possibly have Ostrogoths/Visigoths or Parthia.

I haven't gotten around to trying it and don't know when I will, but I find the addition of vampires and secret societies really disappointing from the standpoint of a Civ fan. It falls into the category of "stuff for the sake of stuff" that I already didn't like about Civ 6. It feels like...

That's a lot of "plates" to have spinning in a given game. How do you get the timing down for transferring Magnus between cities to achieve specific things at specific times?

Yeah, I tend to. Probably a holdover from Civ again, since I hate the religious victory gameplay. Too chaotic and micro-intensive. Maybe it's easier and better in Old World.

My goodness. This is an unexpected but delightful development. As if I could possibly want this game more. Very glad to see this interesting dynasty represented.
