So many years later and RI is still the best Civ game ever. I just wish the giant earth didn't crash my computer. Gotta be the Civ 4 engine because this thing can play KCD.

Waiting for the AI not to suck and for huge/marathon to be in any way balanced.

The reason I'm not playing Civ 6 is the AI. It's horrible. If they fix it so I can play a huge/marathon game and have some kind of a challenge, I'll be happy.

On my huge marathon game, the barbs... aren't really doing anything. There's a ton of them around but they're not attacking my cities. Now I'm bored again :(

AI still doesn't upgrade units (at least on huge/marathon.) My crossbowMAN and 2 war carts are tearing up the land mass while Rome and Kongo both have a bunch of slingers and a chariot here and there.

With my eyesight, StratView is a must and this is, far and away, the best StratView I've ever seen... no pun intended. They are forgiven for Beyond Earth.

If you think this AI is braindead, you should have seen Civ 5 at launch without those rose-tinted glasses. This is bad. That was worse. WAY worse.

I don't even bother with diplomacy now. Since I main Sumeria, I just build a little infrastructure, a few war carts, and proceed to own my own continent.
