    Bug Reports and Technical Issues

For example in this savegame, but also in later turns. Until i got Open Border with Italy, so i gave up the idea to vassalize Italy too... Thanks in advance.

    Bug Reports and Technical Issues

Playing as France in a 600AD start, i cannot declare war to Italy. No option in dipolomatic menu. No ALT-Click on civ name. Contacting other civs (for example Poland), it seems possible to ask him to declare war to Italy, but it is red. Spain, England and HRE already vassalized. It is about...

    1.16 England UHV advice?

How is it possible that France beats England in tech goal? My strategy, if we can call "strategy" obvious moves, is to build monasteries and libraries, then bulb any GP. Tech path is towards privateers and colonization ASAP, then protestantism. I do not colonize east coast, not to have to deal...

Which civ should I play in June?

Or maybe cause a global pandemic...

Which civ should I play in June?

Anyway in real history China just landed on Mars, and Japan not yet. Maybe it is time to update Chinese UHV3 to include space race in it.

Which civ should I play in May?

Maya for next poll should be great if Inca does not win current poll.

Which civ should I play in May?

Inca game is too much luck dependent. You can easily buld the andean road and get UHV1, but there is no way to control conqueror event, nor where, neither when neither who. So i definitely don't like Inca. I also want to vote a 3000BC game (but China), so i will wait to see the trend of the poll.

    Suggestion for American cities?

Definitely El Paso. If you build a church in El Paso, you'll get a yellow heavy swordwoman with a katana.

More victories with the same game

At last i completed my longest game ever, in about 2060AD and more than 1600 turns. I played as Romans a Marathon game, and i got UHV, Catholic URV, Cultural victory, Score victory in 2020AD, and i cannot say if i won the race to mars, because the game did not notified victories that are...

Is it currently possible to play DoC in Linux?

Well, i can tell you that i own civ IV complete for windows on DVD, and a full installation of it require to keep DVD inserted to play. But after having installed the official upgrade of firaxis BtS to 3.19, DVD inserted is no longer required to play. So i presume (because i have got other...

    Rome: Hardest UHV??

I don't know... your strategy seems too optimistic... Aemona Julia on plans, delay conquest of Carthago, delay early training of legions... I prefere to build Aemona Julia one tile north: not yet in Balkans, still in core but when fortifed, it blocks any barbarian invasion from the east...

More victories with the same game

I'm playing a Marathon game as Romans, and after i got UHVictory, i played some other turns just for fun and to see what would be happened, with no other goal... But turn after turn i was able to survive to barbarian invasions and found Catholicism in Rome. At that point i converted to...

    Leoreth Plays April Poll

The wonder of this mod we love is that you can chose a civ where you must do something each turn, and a civ where you have to click Next Turn for most of the time and pray nothing happens. If you don't like a boring game, play as Rome, Persia, Arabia, Mongols... and let Indonesia be boring.
