    I suggest you take a look at this checklist for mods. The new steam-based mod tools seem to cause problems here and there during updates and going through those steps, specifically, deleting the cache and reinstalling the mods, helps with the problem...

    Yep, you need to start a new game. Since IA saves data to the save file, civ wants it to be there from the beginning. Hope you have fun with the mod!

    InofAddict MOD not visible to enable when subscribed

    This may be a dumb question but I've seen it happen before: when you enable the mod, do you press the "next" button and start the game from within the mod menu? Or do you back out to the main menu and start the game from there? If you do the latter, all mods are inactivated.

    There have been a few posts on steam too about problems with updates. I personally don't have any problems with my saved games from v17 -> v18 (I used them to test so i was flipping back and forth a lot) but, to be safe, updating the mod in between games is probably best.
