For aluminum, there is a building (I think it's called a Recycling Plant) that grants 3 aluminum. But for other resources you may have the same problem (for me it's always coal, there's only ever 3 on the map).

I got the Reformation belief "Religious Fervor" once, but I remember it not being so great because each unit cost ~2000 faith to purchase. Is this still the case, or did they make it more reasonable in a patch?

If you go the spead of light you go back in time. You'd go thousands of years back in time going that spead for less than a second. Speed of light = 299,792.458 km/s x 9000 = 2,698,128,000 km/s (around that). That is FAST!!! I like Star Trek because its more realistic with the sci fi talk...

I read in the newspaper (not sure which one....my friend picked it off the sidewalk) that almost a dozen people have been injured and two people killed by deer (from trampling and impaling). Anyone else hear this?
