That is a good question! On noble and with this set-up it is possible to have 5 cities up and running, but this could probably be more if one of the top players tried it! Might be a nice challenge, who can get the most cities before the great wall. However on prince or higher this number might...

Instead, use the war academy at civfanatics.com or read the succesion game forum. Those helped me a lot learning the game mechanics.
