So I have a huge bug that has prevented me from playing the game since release. I can't start a game on any other size but duel! On anything but duel, the game will start loading the map and crash during the character dialog. I either get an mscvr90.dll error or a civilization5.exe error...

I prefer the second one. I like it being darker.

So when is the mod thats compatible with BTS 1.13 coming out?

I thought maybe my DL was corrupted so I dled it again. No luck. Has any actually gotten the mod to work?

Ok I got a problem. I just dled the mod and installed it, but when I try to load the mod, it will load half way through and then I get a kernal32.dll error. My other mods for BTS are working and I am using 3.13. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm playing as the French in my first game of this scenario. I played at noble (bit of a noob) and completely dominated the game. The key I found was to raise your culture. I always had it at 40% - 50% the entire game! I gained at least 6 cities from culture flipping. Louisiana expanded greatly...

I loved the mutual protection pacts in Civ3. It's fun to get involved in massive world wars. I remember playing one time on a continent with 3 other civs (on one of the lower difficulties) and declaring war on one them. I was dumb and didn't check who had pacts with who, and soon had DoW form...

Might be related to Spyware/viruses. Would recommend running scans in a couple programs to clear that out. Also check what you have running int he background, as it can slow you down.

Yep they were. Just imagine a game where you are in the cneter of a continent surround by Izzy on one side and Monty on the other. And the share the same religion. But you don't!:(

I tried running Civ 4 with my old voodoo 3 and it worked! Your computer just has some issues. When was the last time you had a fresh install of windows XP wher you reformatted the drive?
