Dont come too close to their borders if half of your army is still far away. Just stay 2-3 tiles away, wait for your guys and then move in with the whole force.

I onlu use America for their color. I would even give up that extra sight to make it harder. I dont post because I'm trying stuff out. Will post soon. All I can say: I found what I was looking for =)

Actually, thats how I play now. I usually have 4-5 cities (3 core production ones and 1-2 resources/gold focused) and then just go take everything I want and can =) The only downside is not being able to get Rationalizm. But I seriously dont how you can comfortably manage happiness w/o Piety.

Well, I'm a big ICS/REx fan since not long ago, so I'll share how it works for me. Basicly ICS means settling cities exactly 3 tiles away from each other. I can't say I always do that. If there is a much better spot I'll settle 4 tiles away. But you must always keep in mind that 3x3 matrix...

500 error is an INTERNAL server error, it a server side fail in like 99.9% cases. Most probably, they were changing some configs on servers and smth went terribly wrong :)

I see your point now. I don't agree with it, but at least I see it. I've read many times than India's UA is designed for 'tall' empires, but since I've made those simple calculations (in my post above) it became clear to me, that in fact this UA benefits 'wide' empires way more than 'tall'...

And again, I don't get your point. Even when using ICS the main source of unhappiness is pop, not number of cities. Regarding India's UA a new city gives you 4+0.5 = 4.5 :c5unhappy:, when normaly you have 2+1 = 3 :c5unhappy:. But when city is 4 pop the amount of :c5unhappy: is equal: 4 + 2 = 6...

MadDjinn, I don't get it. I really don't. You were testing ICS & Happiness with the only nation that has UA regarding it, and now you say the whole system is broken? What is wrong with cities generating more happiness than unhappiness when you have both UA and SPs for that? What is the reason...

I'd suggest to wait till the patch is out to see if they improve naval AI in any way. And if they do, a continent map would make a very nice game, hopefully. I still only accept domination victory, but I'm not sure if most viewers feel the same way. Also, if you choose domination, I'd like...

I've never used Camstudio to record videos, always used Fraps. Probably, you shoul take a look at it? Fairly easy to set up and use. Do you still have to encode videos after you recorded em? Fraps actually record 'raw' avi thus making it easier for the whole system to breathe. P.S. And again...
