If I'm not mistaken, I believe that it was stated in the demo video that only the Japanese Samurai can attack at full strength even when damaged. If all Japanese units can attack at full strength when damaged, that would be a really powerful unique ability...
I noticed this missing element as well from the Worldbuilder after installing "A New Dawn." I simply made changes in "Rise of Mankind" before installing the modmod, but a solution to these missing elements is certainly requested!

This is a great modmod for a brilliant mod! I've played a full campaign using RoM before this mod, and I can already tell that this time will be slightly different - namely the speed at which the turns progress. As a bigtime user of RoM, the turn speed difference is like night-and-day for me...
OK, I managed to resolve the problem indirectly. What I did was "install" the patch into a folder on the desktop and then moved the "installed" files into the "Rise of Mankind" folder, overwriting whatever they needed to overwrite. It worked flawlessly, allowing me to start a new game.
I just ran into this problem upon attempting to update A New Dawn To the latest version. Whenever I run the patch file, it always ends with an error message (see attached file). I've tried earlier versions of the patch but I get the same message.
If anyone can assist on this matter, that...
A few months back I got a tattoo dedicated towards Civilization II that I wanted to debut here! I didn't post the original thread in the general section because it is clearly a bow towards my undying respect and love for the Civilization series, but for all those that get inked and enjoy...
Back in March of this year I got my second tattoo... This time around, however, it was from a game that I don't think has ever been inked before. I introduce the "Civilization II Modern City Tattoo!"
The Ink, in the tattoo parlor, upon completion
Civilization II (and the entire...
I voted "above 10 years old" because I am above 10 years old at 23 years... :p
IMO Civilization is a game for all ages, as it should be, because it's the kind of game that not only provides plenty of scalability for the various skill ranges that comes with different age groups, but also brings...
I managed to get a 1947 cultural victory (epic speed, large map, Noble, 9 other civilizations) using Cyrus of Persia (Expansive, Creative).
I had two major wars during the industrial/early modern era and ultimately got my science/culture settings to 60%/40%. I was the 2nd smallest nation in the...
LOVE this mod so much -- I've been waiting for city-destroying options like this since my heyday in SMAC! :thanx:
I went through your original thread (MAD Nukes Mod) and noticed you were talking about possibly adding more nukes, one that is like the vanilla nuke and a later one that has the...

Great mod so far! I've been curious though as to why you haven't updated the Promotion's and Perks Mod that Zuul's been working on from v0.4 to at least v0.5?
That's the only thing that's preventing me from having this mod from going into my customassets folder to affect the game in...
I will admit, having the world editor at your fingertips has been very tempting for me to use in CIV to "plop a forest here" or "place a warrior there" to make my game "more fun."
That's why I'm glad Firaxis included the "No Cheating" option under the custom world option so I can crush the...
In Civ III I never got out of the habit of automating my workers. In CIV, I now micromanage every aspect of my workers.
Automated workers cannot set long-term goals like a human can when it comes to infrastructure development -- you just tell one to build all roads and another to build all...
