Colonialist Legacies: Histories of the New World | Colonial + Pre-Colonial civs

This looks amazing! My in-laws would be proud, if they knew anything about the game. My mother-in-law took us to a water puppet show in Hanoi last year, it was incredible.

The modding potential... oh man. :goodjob: SilverKnight

    Settler is OverPowered!

Not to mention it can bring in up to 2 food, 2 production, and 1 gold EACH turn. Someone should really look into modding this out. :mischief: SilverKnight

    AI and it's victory awareness

I'm willing to try it, if for nothing else than to piss everyone off. I'll disable all but cultural victory in my next game and play with Mongolia and Japan. SilverKnight

    Upgrading Question

All units keep all promotions (even useless ones, *cougharcherscough* :mischief:) when upgraded. So far as I've noticed, it doesn't matter what the unit started out as or even how it was upgraded. On that note, it'd be interesting to see a veteran scout with +1 sight and movement pop a goody hut...

    Promotions overview

This is great, thanks! I think I'd like to add some labels and other little info when I get home. Maybe if someone else was inclined they could make them all nice and pretty a la the Civolopedia's style or something. Also illustrates how differently the promotions are placed. I noticed right...

    Wary of Greeks Bearing Gifts

Once you go to war with another civ that has a city-state ally, your influence with said city-state instantly hits -60 until either the war with the civ is over or they are no longer allies. That means that even if their alliance did slip during the war, you could conceivably declare peace with...

[TSL] Yet (not) Another Earth Maps Pack

That cordiform map looks amazing. Plus, I can't resist the Chris Isaak reference. :goodjob: SilverKnight

End of Game Sale: Everything Must Go!

I'm not sure there's a difference. Sounds like a marvelous tactic to me, one that had the potential to backfire a lot of ways. I'm only disappointed the AI doesn't attempt it from time to time... or DO they? :D SilverKnight

    Who has better horses?

I read this book a few years ago called "What If?" It's a collection of stories by various historians and experts about "how things might have been" given different historically significant outcomes, a good read if you're interested. One of them was about the Mongols and wow... that one really...

    CiV Zombie Mod?

While I'm no modder, I am a big fan of the modern zombie genre (28 Days Later, Max Brooks books, Zombieland), and playing CiV after finally getting to see "The Walking Dead", it occurs to me. Wouldn't this iteration of the game make a perfect platform for a zombie mod? Zombies are weak melee...

    Pikeman steals city

At that rate, same thing. The best I've done is a lone tank among my knights. :p SilverKnight

    Space Factories screw you over

Thanks for pointing that out though, I'm about to finish off my America Prince game in record time (for me) with space. I thought about that but hadn't actually figured the numbers. Will reduce my number of part-building cities. :goodjob: SilverKnight

Is Freedom usually the most important post-Medieval policy tree?

Unlike flanking, Discipline doesn't stack, you are correct sir. SilverKnight
