I just got Civ2 on my laptop, and it works perfectly. However, there are no icons for the shortcuts. Is there a way to get those files all by themselves?

I had to reinstalll the game after my system went nuts, but for some reason I can't make standard zoom stick. My resolution is 1024 x 768, and I run Win98. It used to work on those settings just fine, but now it won't stay for some reason.

Hmm, that's interesting. I don't know if I want to go to Deity yet though. I think I'll try it for a few games and see what happens. So there's nothing I can do to the game code so that it always happens?

I've noticed in the game that two settler units at the beginning of the game is difficult or impossible on the higher difficulty levels. Is there something I can do so that I can get two settlers all the time when I start the game? I don't really care about tech and the like from the beginning...
