    A bug with Venice?

Strategic view has a lot of exploitable bugs, one that comes to mind is if a civ you have not met settles a city in revealed area on the map, you can click on the city and enter the diplo screen without meeting them (allowing 1 for 1 trades as well).

Helicopter Gunships should fly and fight over water. Anti-tank gun proposal.

IMO it should be: Helicopters can fight over coastal and lake tiles, but cannot enter Ocean tiles normally. When next to a coastal tile they have the option to embark (allowing them to enter ocean tiles and cross continents).

If you could add great works what would they be?

Not sure if it's already in but I'd like to see: Great Work of Writing Song's of Innocence / Song's of Experience - William Blake It would fit perfectly with the expansions focus on Industrialization onwards. You could even go one step further and include one of his prints as a great work of art.

    More Wonders

Will you be updating 'The Motherland Calls' as the Order Ideology wonder? Was really disappointed when it was scrapped, doubly so when the Kremlin took it's place. Also, any plans on adding more wonders tied to the ideologies? And lastly, fantastic work on all wonders thus far.

    First thing you'll do?

I believe the limit is 22 base game, but with a DLL mod it can be changed. My first game will most likely be a standard Earth map with rough true starts for the 9 new civs as AI, and myself as France (although I will probably start with France in China just for space).

Patria Grande: Civilizations of the Americas

Personally, I think the 1 point of faith per 10 gold in the treasury sounds balanced early to mid game, but fairly OP when the industrial era hits. Some times I will be sitting on 4-8k gold (city states in check, cities powerful enough to build science and culture buildings), meaning 400-800...

    Civilization Request Thread

Posting an idea for an Australian civ for BNW if anybody has interest in it. UA: Gold Rush: Replaces a golden age (similar to Brazil's Carnival replacing a golden age). Gold Rush's provide +1 g and +1 p on tiles with existing production and gold (like the the original GA, represents the mining...

    India changes?

As it is, Japan is a good civ (UA is great when used properly, Samurai can get blitz or charge much earlier), Zero can definitely use an upgrade, or replacement. Compared to India, who will have a happiness penalty early on (when it is harder to get), and a happiness buff late game (when it is...

    Your "Go-To" Civs

Vanilla: Persia (Original golden Ages had +1 g and +1p on tiles, it was boss on great plains maps), or Inca (for 6 food hill tiles). GK: Netherlands (although it took me months to give them a go). BNW: Venice (if they shine), or Morocco.

    Venice discussion

I'm assuming that Venice will be given a coastal start bias for both historical and unique synergy, but what is the best start position in everybodys opinion? Mine would be coastal start but limited ocean in workable area, with desert hills and oasis with resources on those hills to help with...

    New Unit ~ Hand-Axe!

The Maori Warrior is also in the list so it's more likely that this version used to leak the information had BNW, G&K and all the DLCs in the build.

    Venice discussion

Just did a test, made a game with only America and Persia with the in game editor, and spammed cities. After getting the final city built (Le Bam) cities then began borrowing names from other civs.

    [Speculation] Italian States/Papal States/Venice

Venice is confirmed, but alas the Italian States unique information in the Africa scenario is still unknown (as far as I know), there is still more to speculate!

    Shoshone civilization, leader Pocatello

This civ reminds me of a game of vanilla (alpha cracked) civ a couple of years back, turn 12, year 3500 bc (close to, starting in Ancient Era) I met a German Rifleman... the ability to choose the ruins bonus is definitely good, but ultimately the civs potential is limited compared to other civs...

Betting and Speculation - The "Entirely Separate Hypercube" Civ!

It could be that this Hypercube civ brings a new dimension to the game, deep sea settling, Rapture Andrew Ryan UA: Cities may be settled in coastal tiles immediately, and in ocean tiles when astronomy is discovered. All tourism is converted to culture. All faith is converted to science (and...
