Does anyone know of a mod or work around for this? Because it has been ages and is still not fixed! I hate knowing everyone in the game, especially Civs over an ocean! But sometimes you have got to bribe Shaka to war to keep him off your back :(

Yeah i saw that afterward, I thought it was still funny though. It's a shame a couldn't find that original post with the manual method of disabling civs :/

Hahahahahaha I just loaded Really Advanced Setup and removed some Civs from the "active list" and then they were the first two I met in game. Exit, start again, unselect everyone except those I don't want to see. Start as one instead :hammer2: I guess the mod is broken at the moment?

Yes I have looked pretty much everywhere, and have pretty much given up looking for the solution. I figured it would have been something more people would have brought up (not being able to hide the HUD) before, considering how long the game has been released :hmm:

I like complex!!!! I love micromanagement too, I micro my entire Civ. I manage all SoD into smaller stacks instead of one giant SoD (unless otherwise impossible because of impending juggernaut AI) and specialise their promotions. I micro each tile for each city, I always have scouts out...
