Welp, turns out I couldn't get Open Borders with a leader that likes them even at +11 relations Btw, I also support the claim that the Europe scenario is great! Question: is there any way I can add more civs to this scenario? Specifically to fill in empty spaces in the east. I am not a mod...

It's not really the case. I get no open borders from +11 civs and then I get open borders from +1 civs (or even +0 if I recall correctly) without any effort. Also,I'm usually supposed to pay them something for it as well. I think it would be useful to understand how this hidden mechanic works...

Seems like even having +10 of relations does nothing to your ability to conduct diplomacy with a nation. Mutually beneficial trade is not considered as such by the AI. Seems like it views it as a dangerous tool for the player to have an edge in trade and tech, and an AI would rather not....

UPD: Germans proposed to me the Open borders within a few turns. Literally nothing changed(except their mind I guess) but now I have a better contender. +7 Relations, no Open borders for you sir! I am not sure the relations modifier affects anything? feels like there are some hidden...

Wow, after a few tries I must admit that the AI plays to win in RI... No matter the start or the civ I always get attacked about the time of building the second city, sometimes earlier. You literally can not go peaceful option until you destroy your neighbor(Monarch diff). I thought that it...

Downloaded the master branch and after 3 different attempts finally got all the files(presumably). How to actually launch this? Even after renaming the folder to Master of Mana the mod simply doesn't launch. It starts loading and then nothing happens while I stare at the desktop,(the civ 4...
