You can only evangelise a religion that you founded yourself. You can also only win with your own religion. The only things you can do with conquered religions is spread them yourself, and use them to stop others winning a religious victory.

I think you're correct. The balloon entry specifically states it adds +1 range to Bombard Strength units. I believe the Battleship has Ranged Strength.

I live in a neighbourhood, max tiles from 2, maybe more, city centres. There used to be mines everywhere which had max production. Now it's just farmland.

My first game on the new patch and Ive decided to play at King. Niot even turn 100 and China has conquered two CS in double quick time. Ive also been pissing about and boxing in Spain, and the AI has used its archers pretty effectively. Positive stuff so far.
