I love the game but it's already bloated and has been for a while.
I've always had the feeling that the systems and mechanics don't fit as seamlessly and elegantly as they could. I blame it mostly on the UI.
I don't mind the extra modes at this point in the game's life cycle. They are a fun...
Well... now, that really sucks.
Will we be able to buy them at some point separately? that's my question
Because exclusive cosmetic stuff is not a big deal, but gameplay crosses a line, in my opinion. New abilities for a leader could be very significant.
Sure, but that's also why I dislike...
I don't know... I was ready to buy this, I got up early, but now I think I might wait
Or maybe I'll be buying the DLCs separately, even though it might be more expensive in the end. But I have the feeling I'll be skipping one or two.
I wish they would give us more info about the personality...
Honestly? the soothsayer looks like it could be fun (and extremely annoying when the AI uses it, lol). Big Populous vibes indeed
Curious about how the "apocaliptic era" will look and what are the details about the score system. On paper it looks like they could've gone even further with the...
I agree that the animations are most likely placeholders (even if the content releases in a couple of days, the videos could have been edited days ago and/or with old assets). I also agree that is not the biggest deal, is not something to write Firaxis angry emails about...
But also, if those...
I agree with some other posters here, I would love to have more info on future DLCs to know if it will be worth it to spend 40€ on this.
Specifically, I would love more info on the new modes and extra content, because for me it's what will make this DLCs worth it, or not.
I know, I know...
Wait, you can start near natural wonders?? I thought that was only for AI civs and city states :crazyeye::rolleyes:
But seriously, in hundreds and hundreds of hours of civ 5 and 6 it barely has happened to me (within reach of my first/second city I mean), so its hard to have a favourite. I'm...
I don't think I've ever seen the fountain of youth in Civ 5, and I've played hundreds of hours.
I think I'm fine with it. If it's powerful and rare it can be a fun addition, as long as its bonuses are interesting.
I agree with Firaxis... Civ 6 doesn't need more systems and mechanics. It's already quite bloated, and more mechanics would only overcomplicate things and make everything more tedious. People here and on other forums insist on "diseases", but I don't think they would be that interesting (and...
I loaded an old save where the AI expansion was almost at a standstill (Egypt and Spain only had 1 or two cities in turn 200, lol), and with the patch the AI started to settle more cities.
It still has troubles sometimes, though. Maybe is because of the new housing/amenities system, or maybe...
I don't have a problem with it. But maybe it would help if they added a touch of more saturated colour to some elements. It probably won't be too hard to mod.
