Bump.

I saw that Pouakai had made a new Enlightenment Era mod, so I decided to play some Civ. However, when I tried to load the game, it crashed during the loading screen. There was no message, the screen just went black for a second & I was returned to the desktop. Does anyone know what's causing this?

Ok, I've tried disabling & reenabling G&K, to no avail. What now?

I already have; I am sure that Gods & Kings is installed.

I'm currently playing with BNW & G&K as well as all the DLC, however when I try to enable mods it says I'm missing G&K. Does anyone know why this is happening? I clearly have G&K installed, but it says I don't in the mods screen. EDIT: The same goes for scenarios.

I believe the Prehistoric Era Reborn doesn't have as much content as Prehistoric Era itself. However, PER is much more stable from what I've seen; anytime I try to load a game with Prehistoric Era, the game crashes. So I'd recommend trying PER.

On the topic of it being unbalanced for only Catholic civs to be able to become HRE, there are other things for other religions; Islamic civs could become Caliph, & Orthodox civs could become Patriarch.

Tomatekh has just released some new religions based on Christian & Muslim heresies during the Middle Ages; any chance these could appear in the scenario like the Protestant Reformation?
