Whenever I conquer a city in this scenario, there is about a 20% chance that the game will shut down unexpectedly. I'm playing on a Mac laptop, 2.53 Ghz and 4 GB memory. Please advise!

I wanted to bump this thread--I've been having the same problem, I think.

2.53 Ghz, 4 Gb of memory, and yes, I've downloaded the latest patch... It especially crashes right after I conquer cities.

Whenever I play Beyond the Sword scenarios like Rhyse or the WW2 global scenario, the game goes very slowly and keeps shutting down unexpectedly. The computer is new--2.53 GHz, 4 GB of memory. I am running the latest version of the game for Mac with the latest patch 3.something). Please...

My game is repeatedly shutting down without warning, redirecting me to the desktop and making me lose all of my work. The computer is brand new--what's going on?

I hate that I can't just begin as the Romans in 750 BC, but have to keep hitting enter manually again and again from 3000 BC onward until it's time to play. There must be some other way?
