You could open up the console and write
player.setgold playerID #amount
to reset the amount of gold to a reasonable level.
playerID is usually 0 if you are the first player.

Automated civilian units lose their automation every turn. Especially noticeable with missionaries which activate and are waiting for their orders every turn when set to auto spread.
Edit: Grouping civilian units and then issue an auto command just reactivates the stack and does nothing.
There is/was a bug in the WB that crashed it whenever one left a field without pressing enter first. When entering a number or name in a field it is advisable to always press Enter (Numpad or the main one) before going to the next field.

I reverted back to 8604 and loaded my earlier posted autosave fine. Updated to 8606, loaded the autosave and having the same problem as before. For good measure I deleted the cache in appdata/local/<etc>... to no effect.
From this morning I distinctly remember SVN downloading the DLL again...
Sadly, no luck with 8606 either. Loading an autosave it stuck at 'Finishing' with close to zero CPU usage. A normal save never finishes the turn and I let it run for about 30 mins, which is 6 times the normal turn time.
Both saves are attached.
All Bonustypes listed for a normal mine have <bBonusMakesValid>1</bBonusMakesValid> while the Mountain Mine has <bBonusMakesValid>0</bBonusMakesValid> for all it's Bonustypes.
This is why mountain mines do not provide vicinity boni for the resources.
Have you checked the files in the screenshot? Specific lines are mentioned and it looks like possible file corruption. Also these files are not in the Useroptions but Cavemen2Cosmos/Asset/config which are changed very rarely and are not written to by the mod itself.
Are these errors the same...
