I'm pretty sure I've moved through and beyond vegetation with infantry, and I don't remember having picked any commander promotions which would allow me to do that. I think I've also seen my scouts not being stopped by embarking. Maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me. I might be consfused...

During my by now about 35 hours of Civ 7 I've been trying to figure out precisely how movement works in this game, sometimes by googling, but I'm still not quite sure. If the Civilopedia offers an explanation, I haven't found it. Rivers, both navigable and not, consistently stop movement...

I have now found all natural wonders on the map and didn't receive the gold reward for any of them. I'm curious as to whether this is supposed to be the case, or if it's a bug. On most, if not almost all, maps you won't get this reward for any natural wonder except the one you possible started...

That's exactly what I'm saying. The Fishing Quay unlocked the tier 1 Dhow and the Lighthouse the tier 2 Dhow. My guess is this correponds to Galley and Quadrireme.

You're exactly right. Thank you. It's an interesting design choice to indicate nowhere, neither in the tech tree nor in the description of the fishing boat, that you need this building to build boats.

I'm playing my first game of Civ 7 as Isabella and have encountered two natural wonders, but neither time have I received any gold. Is this because you have to be the first to discover the wonder, is it a bug, or am I missing something else?

I'm playing as Axum in the Antiquity Age and after researching Sailing, I cannot build the dhow even though I have access to a navigable river. Why?

I'm playing my first game as Isabella, and after discovering a natural wonder, I didn't get 300 gold. Is this perhaps because you have to be the first to discover it? Is it a bug? Or am I missing something?
