    Why can't I choose which tile my city will expand to next?

    I have run into the reverse problem. Namely, when I build Petra, the city never expands to more desert tiles even though Petra makes them vastly superior to others. Instead, I end up having to rush purchase more desert tiles to make use of the wonder.

    Update: Looks like the movement mod conflicts with the Detailed Worlds mod. When I drop Detailed Worlds, movement and barb reduction don't prompt crashes. Just FYI.

    The earth maps tend to bog down the turn processing, but I still enjoy some of the settings in this mod, especially the rule options for barbarians and movement. So I like to run this mod for use with larger Continents maps to enable those options. I noticed that games using those rulesets...

    Might be a duplicate request, but a mod that allows you to boycott a Civ at set-up, without requiring you to designate all the other Civs outright. Basically an option for random Civs to the exclusion of certain ones (e.g., random opponents in today's game, but no Pedro or no Gilgamesh).

    This. Also, I tend to use melee units that are close to their next promotion and take advantage of adjacent enemy farms. Both offer instant heals to mitigate damage from the city defenses.

    But other "per believer" bonuses draw from other civilizations (e.g., Tithes), if the belief only works within each city, then spreading the religion beyond your borders does nothing.

    General points are much better. By the time you get Mysticism and the 240 faith to build a priest, if you care about religion, you either have or are close to having one. Thereafter, Prophet points are useless. General points are good forever.
