    How do you wage war?

I do the same thing occasionally such as when there is one promoted longbow and the rest of the defenders are non-longbows. I'm worried about all my siege dying to that one longbow without causing any damage to him (still doing lots of collateral on everyone else). I'll take an attacker and...

Themed game (sort of). Where would you settle?

Edit-----My 2 cents on the where to settle debate: 1W! Why not!??! 4000 BC to 1000AD to 1665 domination

    [CIV4] Replay #9 - Beating Deity

Agree ^^. Your video would educate players even with NO commentary. The commentary adds a lot of info that wouldn't be caught by just watching the video. It's not perfect English - but I don't think that has prevented you from getting any of your points across in the videos. I haven't had...

    News: BOTM 75 - Starts 15 February

That's a Hills/Oasis/Desert tile. Another thing possible in Rainforest that isn't on most map scripts. Edit: I also have seen hills/grassland/rice and riverside/grassland/deer. I'm sure there are some other tiles that you don't normally see as well. I haven't played a rainforest map in...

    News: BOTM 75 - Starts 15 February

Typically that is true. However, rainforest maps have different rules. You can end up with crazy starts such as this.

Back In the Saddle: Monarch, Normal, Not Huts, NO Events, Fractal.

You can see the river by the gold in the screenshot. There may be irrigated wheat or something to the West if you SIP but I wouldn't risk it. I'd move warrior 1 NE just to check up there first - then move settler 1 SW. You lose one of the cows but you wouldn't lose any green tiles and could...

    Just answer the question

Inca is by far the strongest Civ on Monarch+ difficulty. This has been proven many times.

Fastest way to a pre-500 BC catapult rush?

OP may be playing on Noble - Monarch difficulty. I don't think 2000 BC Construction or 500 BC Engineering are what he should expect to be able to achieve on a typical map. I think "most basic strat in the game" is more like warrior rush or axe rush...

Fastest way to a pre-500 BC catapult rush?

What maps/leaders/difficulties/neighbors do you think a Catapult rush would be better than Axerush/HA rush? Boxed in on Deity w/ no horses? Such a rare case and it's unlikely Math bulb>Oracle Construction would be possible. I have never played ~500 BC catapults so maybe it's better than I...
