yeah this is the only way i play. settings on Diplomatic/Domination or even just Domination alone, no Time limit. Earth maps with true starts. Then try to keep the euro powers alive, gift some american cities to them so they have colonies.. be sure to hold onto the suez and panama equivalents...

Playing on the same rig I imagine and yes it works well. Smooth game on standard, only gets slow on Huge by the modern era. though on an i3 integrated gfx laptop i imagine he would be limited to duel or tiny map games if it works at all?

Civ V vanilla was a total abomination. Civ V + G&K,BNW is a good game. It took a while.. too long. OP needs to make a hard call; either uninstall civ v or get all the DLC like the rest of us chumps.

Thanks for this mod, I restarted a game just to use it. As has been said multiple times, it is simply shocking that this feature is not present in vanilla.
