    More Civs in Civ4!

I thought it was pretty obvious I was thinking about having even distribution on a real-world map. On random maps, I like cultural distribution, too, but that's not what I'm talking about. Besides, who judges cultural importance? If that's what we're going by, then Zululand, Mali, and Songhai...

    Polynasian Civ?

While I think it would be fun to play as a highly seafaring civ as the Polynesians, and while I think the Polynesians have had great, underestimated affects on the world, when playing on a real-world map it would be difficult to become powerful. I mean, much of your empire would be islands...

    More Civs in Civ4!

No, that's not by my rationale. My point was that each of those three listed civs had political and cultural centers that were too closely located (if not the same city, in the case of the Byzantines and the Ottomans), not merely that they each controlled much of the same territory. I would...

    Can you play it online?

Yep, only in PTW and Conquests. Hence the name "Play the World."

    Civ-Specific Traits

It depends on when you look at. Today, I'd say Greece is definitely commercial and seafaring, but back in the day, Greece harbored some of the greatest scientific minds of the time.

Is it a good idea to do this.

I find you get off to a good start when you do that because your culture soars, but later in the game, when culture really starts being accumulated, it's very hard to win by culture with just a couple cities, and your rivals will be beating you in every other aspect.

    Favorite Government Type

I said despotism over communism because you start with despotism and I, personally, remain a despot until I switch to republic, which is longer than I would stay a communist. Besides, republic is better than communism, and you get it earlier, but no matter what, you start as a despot.

    Polynasian Civ?

People here may not have a problem with it, but I bet some hypersensitive people will, and video games don't need anymore negative attention.

    1000 Clues You're Anticipating Civ4 Too Much

1330. It actually only takes you four hours to read it all, but you spend another eight hours day-dreaming about cIV.

    Polynasian Civ?

Do you really think we need another Middle Eastern civ?

Do you choose or put random

I go with random, too, except, like luceafarul said, when I want an extra challenge.

    Favorite Government Type

I chose despotism, since I like to rule my people with an iron fist. Plus, I hate it when they whine about being weary from my insane war mongering.

Three civs are militaristic and religious? Other than that, I agree with most of them.

    Confused Military Advisor

The Foreign Advisor is the only useful one. The rest just complain, always nagging me to fund enterprises and establish new trade routes and such. A wise man once said, "My military advisors are always confused, I say hang em all."
