Destroyed the Lieutenant, game continued running.
Revealing the map in debug mode and checking the Military advisor shows no sea units remaining for the King of Denmark either.
EDIT: I won on the next turn!
I have defeated every land unit in the REF, and yet the game is still ongoing, despite it saying in the Colopedia that I only need to defeat the land units and hold all my settlements.
Do I need to sink all the ships too? Am I gonna have to search the entire Atlantic for em?
There's also the simpler possibility of a building that passively gives XP over time up to a cap - it's implemented in several of the FFH submods for Civ4 proper, so it's probably doable in CivCol too? Wouldn't need a new yield or yet another set of employees.
Maybe tie it to the fortification...
From what I can tell, the only building that improves Flax growth is the Plantation.
But Flax only grows on Taigas, and you can't build Plantations on Taigas.
Is it intended that Flax output can't be improved?
How many quests are there in the game currently?
I know there's still the 3 inland settlements, 5 docks, and 3 abbeys ones; but I was surprised by there being ones for 5 wagon trains and 5 expert trappers. Are there others I should be aware of?
I've just gotten back into Civ4:Col, and installed this mod. But when I try and play it, I get a effectively infinite stack of dialog boxes (as pictured):
almost all of which refer to XML errors. It's a fresh boot, with the 2 plot radius DLL.
I presume this isn't meant to happen?
I seem to recall that at one point Native Slaves could promote to Converted Natives, much as Petty Criminals and Indentured Servants can promote to Free Colonists. Was that ever a thing, and if so, why was it removed?
