Wrong version of O Canada sung at Remembrance Day ceremonies. Not impressed. Nov 11, 2016

Epistemic humility means having an accurate idea of how much you know, i.e. very little. The proper strategy for finding happiness is experimenting widely and trying many things rather than trying to 'figure it out' through reason, no matter how many books you read.

I was poking fun on the questions-not-worth-their-own-thread thread, no need to take it so seriously.

Are you posting the NaNoWriMo thread for this year?

Yes. I've had some RL stuff going on, and tackling a 50,000-word story in 30 days will be a picnic by comparison.

You've had a recent name change, I think, although I don't remember seeing anything in your sig. Synsensa? Or am I misunderstanding something?

As the Second Doctor said, "You've had this place redecorated, haven't you? I don't like it."

Are you all right, Valka? Iron Pen hasn't been posted and I see you haven't been around for almost two weeks...

      Hey :)

What do you think of Spinoza?

Well, at least you had a liberal (ish) politician to vote for. The elections here have me wondering why I have to vote for a corrupt, not very competent politician to stop an ever more corrupt, absolutely incompetent politician from being promoted from governor to president. :cringe:

Small election sign…? Well, 100×100 px signs are quite small. ;)

It seems that the heaving of Steve has been achieved.

Long story short, they're in the same boat: fed up with neolib-neocon governments that hold the electorate in brazen contempt. Abbott was actually ousted by his own party, he proved so insane (think the megalomania of Harper crossed with the intelligence of Bush II, with no-one to remind him people were listening to what came out of his mouth).

Godspeed. If Oz ditched Abbott and British Labour chose Corbyn, there's hope for the Anglosphere yet. :salute:
