Diety, Cree, killed two civs by Classical and had 20+ cities on the continent I was on. Spammed Entertainment districts and flew through the rest of the game.
Yeah, the number calculation is jacked. I had Pingala and the Korolev which means 40% space projects. Pingala was taken out by a spy and I had not yet activated Korolev but the turns to complete the (at the time, Moon Landing) was the same as with Pingala. I would expect a one turn difference...
They kind of do act the same. AI rushes CSs. AI declares pointless joint wars on players. All the AIs build the same units. I could go on. The only thing that makes them different is their agendas and some are so annoying that theres honestly no point in even dealing with diplomacy. It's so flawed.
Ottoman of course. Turkish/turks is more of an ethnicity. Plus it would be pretty dumb to not have a nation who had so much power for over six to seven centuries.

I beg to differ. Civ 4 was easy to pick up, but very hard to master. Civ 6 has very simple mechanics when you actually play while it may seem advanced on paper.

Damn, if I had the programming skills I would make a mod directly focusing on the problem you have, but sadly, I do not. Hopefully, this catches the attention of people who are able to program. I too don't quite enjoy the golden/highly saturated overlay as well to be honest.
