Sorry, the internet's very slow where I am
I did try to download GIMP 2.6.6 yesterday and I spent a long time waiting for a window that claimed it was checking its cache but it never asked me what to do with any files, and my downloads don't show it as being downloaded. I'm boarding my plane in an hour, so I don't think I have any time to do much on this. I'm going to be in Lima around midnight Peru time, that's 0600 in Hungary, I believe.
I am waiting for you online...

Install 2.6.6 then download libgimp from here.
I have 2.6.8 (the latest I believe) It's the one I got from the GIMP website.
What version of GIMP do you use? I prefer 2.6.6
When everything is lost I upload it to you.
Okay, I reinstalled GIMP and tried to install the plug-in again, and the same error message came up...what do you think, Nitram15?
It says that "libgimp-2.0-0.dll" is missing from my computer...It also says to reinstall GIMP. I'mma do that and see if that helps. If it doesn't...I'mma have to figure some stuff out.
You need to have a .dds plug-in for GIMP, or it won't know what is that file extension. You can download GIMP .dds plug-in from here. -
