Ludwig is the leader I was looking forward to the most. If I don't have fun with playing him tonight, this is it for me and this iteration of Civilization. A kind of swansong, if you will.
I've never had this many freezes and crashes before. I'm not sure what is going here, but I'm really tired of rebooting the game. It seems very hard to have a strategy game that is complete and fine-tuned at the end of its life cycle these days.
If indeed Civilization VII is coming relatively soon, all of this is really baffling from a marketing point of view. Ideally you want to go out with a bang, but all of this underwhelming releases will only affect future sales. Let's hope the next pack is better.
By realism I don't necessarily mean grimdark, but if I'd have to pick between how beautiful Poundmaker model is vs Gilgamesh, I would have liked Julius to be more Poundmaker than Gilgabro.
I'd really like for CIV VII to go as realistic and close to history as possible, but I don't know how many players are like me. Julius seems to be coming straight from a Belgian comic book, and not the Astérix version sadly.
