I'm trying this program out but I'm only seeing terrain when I load in world builder. No hills, mountains, forests, jungles, lowlands, continents.

I've noticed computers ramp up spy activity against you when you're getting near to a win condition. So if you're going space victory, you need to use counterespionage in your spaceport(s).
It's a personal preference. If your city desperately needs food, make a farm. If you want to connect more farms together for the adjacency food bonus, build a farm. You could build a farm to help your city grow faster and later on change it into a mine if you think it's worth the builder...
Unless you are going for a religious victory, or stopping someone else from achieving a religious victory, it seems pointless to invest into religion. Is there something I'm missing?
I'm one of those people who was obsessed with Civ 4 but didn't get into Civ 5, and I think Civ 6 is much better. I guess 5 and 6 are more different than people assumed they would be.
Tea is a stimulant and helps people wake up sooner and stay up longer. Many scholars actually believe that the switch to Coffee and Tea in Europe as opposed to beer helped spur technological innovation.
None of the unlocks provided by Flight require combustion IRL except the Biplane. Make the Biplane require Flight AND Combustion and the problem would be solved.
Edit: Hot Air Balloons technically requires combustion but the technology is so much simpler than a motor. It shouldn't really...
Their bonuses are not even worth the amount of production necessary to put into them. You could build, say, 3 settlers, two builders and a couple of musketmen, or you could put all of that into Broadway which isn't much better than the last theatre district improvement. You could put all of that...
I have looked for a while and am unable to find what resources I am receiving in trade deals. The report shows what resources are being produced domestically, but that is it. How is the player supposed to know which luxury resources they still need?
