I have no problem paying for the expansion and all that because the ideas and mechanics of Civ V are amazing and really piqued my interest. That's why I bought the game. But when I discovered how awful the diplo AI was and how dumb the tactical AI was I felt ripped off. I'll buy this expansion...

I won't be suprised if the AI still doesn't work properly in the diplomacy game. Much less the AI being competent at all. A viable and interesting peaceful diplomatic game would be awesome and get me right back into this game. But until the AI is improved to that point, or where it at least...

Rise of Mankind mod, which includes BetterAI. I love Civ5, the art style and the one unit per tile along with everything else, but the AI just kills it for me. Firaxis doesn't even have to code the AI, just release some modding tools to us. That's it, and I'll gladly lap up any expansions...
