Can you somehow make the game slower? I mean more turns and so on, because now I will finish a game in 2-3 days compared to having literally weeks of playtime with the first Civ game (haven't really played 2 and 3 much). I mean, not just make the game have more turns, but the technologies...

What about giving desert a good (as in high) chance of revealing oil when you get the required tech (combustion?).

Big rocks are only effective against large masses of people and structures. Riflemen should be able to get out of the way when they see an incoming boulder as they aren't massed together in the same way as sword and spear armies would be.
