The 90/53 on Lancia 3Ro was a autocannone used by the Royal Italian Army in the Second World War and by the Italian Army in the post-war period.
The vehicle was born in 1941 from the need of the Royal Army to provide anti-tank protection to the motorized columns with a mobile platform for the 90/53 Mod. 1939 cannon, born as a heavy anti-aircraft weapon and proved to be excellent for fighting tanks (similar to the German 88). Despite the fact that the Ansaldo had proposed the installation on an Alfa Romeo chassis, the military preferred the sturdy heavy truck Lancia 3Ro. The prototype was presented on February 6th 1941 and the following March 10th the army ordered the first 30 specimens. In total, about 120 90 mm autos were built on the Breda 52 and the Lancia 3Ro hulls, to arm, according to the intentions of the General Staff, 12 Groups, each on two batteries.
The file contains the unit and pcx files. Model is not my own creation. Wyrmshadow helped with the animation files. I merely put the pieces together and cleaned up the model for CivIII and added some what if pieces. A big thanks to everyone that helped out!
