A more sophisticated version of the P43 bis or P35 / 43 tank, suggested an increase in mass from 30 to 35 tons, installing 90-mm guns of self-propelled guns Semovente da 90/53 with which it was possible to destroy any Allied tank from a distance of up to 1.5 km, which this project is actually one step away from the German Tiger heavy tanks. But the suspension remained the same.
Creation of machines was delayed. There were even significant problems with the launch of a series of tank P26/40, to which took a long time looking for a suitable engine. As a result, it was launched into production in the spring of 1943, but it was accepted into service by the Germans already during the German occupation of Italy in the second half of 1943. Research for the projects P43 and P43 bis was no longer going. Italy did not have enough resources, and the German occupation administration was not interested in obsolete tanks, for which it was necessary to spend large sums to launch into mass production. As a result, the project remained a project. The tanks were not even created in full size, there were only wooden models of 1:10 scale.
The file contains the unit and pcx files. Model is not my own creation. Wyrmshadow helped with the animation files. I merely put the pieces together and cleaned up the model for CivIII and added some what if pieces. A big thanks to everyone that helped out!
