The map has a smaller map-size with a relatively big europe.
The oceans are very small so you can better colonize the resource-rich american continent...
-Some features
->smaller map for better performance in later eras (91x56)
->as example some landscape changes in south-asia to slow down the
development of the asian civs so just imagine that parts of southeast
asia has been flooded (not much)
->Panama canal is passable
->Australia is not reachable until you researched astronomy (same for
America)
->more coast in the northern hemisphere
->and and and... i didnt notice all the changes...just play it
->Playable Civs
Egypt, Carthago, Arabia, Mali, Zulus
Spain, England, Germany, Greek
Viking, Russia, Persia, Mongol
China, Korea, Japan, India
have a good game
