After the cataclysmic destruction of the hypergate system, humanity was abruptly isolated in different parts of the galaxy. Now, centuries later, pockets of human settlements have developed new hyperspace-capable spaceships.
Three major factions have formed: the Federation, the Aurorans, and the Polaris. Reunification is inevitable... but will it happen peacefully?
This scenario is an adaptation of the 2002 space trader/combat game EV Nova as a turn-based strategy game! It has five playable factions - Federation, Aurorans, Polaris, Rebellion, Association Of Free Traders - each with unique ships and technology.
The art used in the scenario was created from assets in EV Nova. Credit for these graphics - and the overall concept! - goes to the original creators of EV Nova.
This is an "alpha" release. I eventually envision it as a total conversion mod replacing all the in-game graphics. It's very playable as-is, but incomplete:
* Majority of graphics (other than units) are still vanilla civ2 assets.
* Labels/descriptions may be inaccurate. (e.g. help text about Hypergates will reference "Airports")
* There are likely bugs and definitely some balance issues!
