Fun to play, seems pretty balanced. I've found one simple bug: there aren't enough settlement names. I've modded the game to remove the settlement limit, and naturally I stumbled upon this problem. Settlements 1-22 are fine. 23 and 24, however, have a blank name and cannot be renamed. 25+ are fine, as the game begins to draw from the pool of Persian settlement names, as they aren't in the current game. I can't find why 23 and 24 are forced to be blank, but I do see that there are only 22 names listed in the 'CityNamesText' file, as well as 22 being called in the 'civilizations' file.
I added two new city names, but that didn't solve the problem when I loaded the same game. I haven't tried it with a new game yet. I also probably missed something.
I know this is a minor thing, I'm just letting you know it exists.

Thanks for making this and your other mods! I've been enjoying playing as Germania.

Thanks for the complement. I think the game doesn't reload some data in save games. I'll figure out a couple more city names, I originally had trouble finding list of ancient german cities that are not roman.
I enjoyed a couple of run-throughs with Germania - I now leave them in to ensure that on fractal maps the tundra tiles are used sensibly. I really like the Haselgebrige Salt Mine as a wonder -for me, it's balanced perfectly.
It's a very cool design but I'm finding that I'm not able to load them into a game

oh no. I'll take a look if something is wrong. Remember if you downloaded the zip you have to have the interior folder "Goggle" s-Germania-Antiquity" in the mods folder.
I'm giving 5 stars for you actually working on mods so early after release. However, the Suebi unit just had random exploration or early modern era people with gunpowder pistols. Is that supposed to happen? I'm using Ada Lovelace. Can you not use any antiquity age melee unit as a placeholder instead? I know we don't have custom assets yet, but pistols in 3900 BCE just broke my immersion too much lol. Thanks for making this though. When it's ready I'm excited to do Germania > England > Great Britain since I think migrating Germanic tribes works great for antiquity before becoming England. In fact, I recommend having Germania unlock your exploration England since I don't see any on there yet. That'd be cool! Also unlocking the Normans would make a little sense. Please let me know when you put placeholders units in for Suebi and I'll for sure make this a constant mod used in playthroughs. Your mods are filling a huge void us history buffs need to actually enjoy civ 7's age transitions/civ swapping feature, so thank you!

Thanks! Nobody's figured out how to assign the unit animation yet and it may not be until Firaxis releases the mod tools. I've got a beta of my Swiss Confederacy in the downloads that i'm trying to finish up.
