    • Resources
    • Start Position
    • World Age
    • Sea Level
    • Lake Level
    • River Level
    • Temperature
    • Rainfall

    World Wrap
    - whether the world is round or flat
    • Globe: wraps east/west and has north/south bands of latitude
    • Region: no world wrap, and no bands of latitude unless the climate is tilted
Mountain Patterns - customize mountain ranges
    • Tectonic Plates: normal mountain ranges
    • Fractal Ranges: thin, snaky mountain ranges
    • Scattered Crags: lots of tiny clumps
    • Clustered Highlands: a few large clusters
    • Uncanny Valleys: snaky but with more valleys
    • Winding Canyons: lots of mountain ranges dominating the landscape
    • Everything: a combination of all mountain patterns (New!)
River Patterns - customize river flows
    • Simple (relatively normal rivers)
    • Detailed (rivers that branch and merge into more complex systems)
    • Branchy (rivers that are highly prone to branching)
    • Snaky (rivers that tend to form long, snaky paths)
    • Everything: a random mix of all river patterns (New!)
Extras - additional islands/lakes(*) for your landmass
    • None: no extras, just leave the landmass alone
    • Chains: long, narrow chains
    • Clusters: densely-packed clusters
    • Mini-Donuts: variations of tiny donuts
    • Tectonic: guided by mountain ranges
    • Tectonic and Chains: a combo of tectonic and chains
    • Everything: all types of extras
(*)The Lakes and Inverted Extras landmasses will add extra lakes instead of islands.

    • No Coastal Ice: if enabled, removes all ice adjacent to non-water tiles
    • No Coastal Mountains: if enabled, replaces all coastal mountains with hills
    • No Reefs: if enabled, removes all non-wonder reefs from a Rise and Fall map
    • Scrambled Land Luxuries: if enabled, luxuries may appear in unexpected places

    • Rainfall now affects the frequency of fresh lakes
    • Various map-utility fixes to improve lakes, rivers, coasts, cliffs, features, and natural wonders
    • Ensures that all land is reachable to settlers despite thick mountain ranges, cliffs, sheets of ice, and impassable natural wonders
    • Improves Sea Level for Island Plates
    • Randomizes terrain under jungle (either plains or grassland for most maps)
    ---Known Issues / Limitations---
Does not support mods that add custom multi-tile Natural Wonders.

Custom-size maps will always wrap east-west. However, the World Wrap option can still toggle latitude bands.
