Description: A large, mobile engine of destruction employed in the Commerce Guild's private droid army and later used in the Separatist droid armies, the OG-9 Homing Spider Droid is specifically geared for anti-vehicular combat. Although light compared to other walkers, they were cheap to build and proved lethal in large numbers by simply overwhelming their opponents.
The orb-shaped central body is equipped with an advanced array of sensors, and a destructive dish-shaped laser cannon capable of firing a sustained beam at opponents. The droid moves by using 4 all-terrain stilt like legs which can achieve impressive speeds of mobility for a walker. These legs also give the Homing Spider Droid an elevated height which allows it to strike over a large area of the battlefield.
