The year is 1798. In Ireland, hatred for the British Crown has grown to a boiling point, with many contemplating revolution. At the head of them is the United Irishmen, a society of Irish citizens seeking freedom from the king, led by Theobald Wolfe Tone. Viscount Castlereagh, the Chief Secretary of Ireland, wishes to crush the rebellion
quickly.
On mainland Europe, the French Revolution is still going on, with the British backing the French Monarchy. In an attempt to weaken their enemy and focus their attention on another front, the Revolutionaries back the Irish, with Jean Humbert leading a small number of spared soldiers to assist the rebels.
Will you chose to lead the British, with hopes of destroying the uprising and showing your might, or will you side with the Revolutionaries, with dreams of forming a new nation for your countrymen?
