King Arthur is one of the most famous characters in Medieval lore. Although his stories take place during the Dark Ages, popular imagination often puts him in a High Middle Age setting. This leaderhead is meant to reflect the Romantic idea of Arthur rather than an attempt at historic accuracy. The armor and weapons are borrowed from Iloveplayciv's Joan of Arc
Arthur's story has been portrayed by many authors, all of whom added their own spin on the story. But Arthur's overall story is well known: the Sword in the Stone, the retrieval of Excalibur from The Lady of the Lake, the court at Camelot, the Knights of the Round Table, the Grail Quest, the tutelage of Merlin, the battles with Morgana le Fay, his death and promise of return are all inseparable from the Anglophonic popular imagination.
