CAMILLO BENSO
I know it has been a long time since my last LH (Yagan), and I know this one has been in the works FOREVER, but fear not; I got some more coming down the pike. Anyway, this one was requested a while back by Kochman and after a lot of reworking I finally got something done. Here is Camillo Benso, Conte di Cavour...
Camillo was a leading figure in the movement towards Italian unification as a founder of the original Italian Liberal Party. He was also the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia during the Second Italian War of Independence as well as Garibaldi's campaign to unite Italy. Cavour, as he is commonly known, was able to increase the size of Piedmont-Sardinia by over five times during his tenure as Prime Minister and nearly united the entire peninsula. He died three months after the Kingdom of Italy was announced, and did not live to see the full unification.
Obviously he should lead Italy, or the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia (Savoy), or could possibly be used in some other sort of non-historic scenario (I guess). Here is the XML you should use:
