Took me quite a while to make him. Mainly through large pauses partly because my motivation isn't as vast anymore.
I studied a large amount of pictures from him. Lot of different variants there, that's for sure. First i wanted to model him after the Cappenberger Barbarossakopf. But i thought most people will likely imagine him with a large beard.
I ended up going with my own version once again. Goal was to show him in armor (like in many pictures) but still looking like a king. I think the result is pretty good even if i could probably improve him still further.
