KHOSRAU I
I say this has to be arguably my best leaderhead yet. I learned even more about shadering (credits to Nitram15), and I discovered the concept of sculpting. Anyhow, I'll be using him as an extra leader for Persia in World of Legends (check out the thread!), as well as the leader for a Sassanid Civ of the Week. As always, feel free to use him for whatever twisted purposes so long as proper credit is given - he probably could do as a generic Classical-era Middle Eastern leader, and maybe as an Islamic leader as well. A button has been included for your convenience.
A little background: Khosrau I was Shah of Persia during the 6th century CE. He is considered to be the greatest monarch of the Sassanid dynasty, a golden era for Persia. Like basically all of his predecessors, he continued Persia's long "Cold War" with Rome/Byzantium - conducting auxiliary wars, trying to economically outmaneuver the Byzantines, even leading some attacks against them. However, Khosrau I was also a great patron of the arts. During his reign, culture as well as the economy flourished. He was known as a just and wise king, and is one of the great monarchs from Iran.
