Version 2 of Prince Charming. This version is based on Colonization's Samuel Champlain
Charming is a stock character in a variety of European fairy tales. The term was probably first used in an eighteenth century telling of "The Blue Bird", where the character was referred to as "Le Roi Charmant", "The Charming King" in English. More often than not he's served only as the love interest for the various princesses which the stories focus on, having little to no personality beyond being attractive and able to fall in love at the drop of a hat.
