Out of all the maps I ever found, only Richard Bartle's Ganymede map interested me. I loved the double-cow starting spot to the north west section of the map. After much use of the map I started playing in the other starting areas and upgraded/improved these for more optimal efficiency until I had a map more well balanced with EIGHT very good starting locations!!!
This was one of my first modified maps and is still one of my favourites to play on. The large size makes it more playable than the huge Ganymede map, and it plays like a Pangaea map, so it's good for huge amounts of cavalry and tanks.
