I've just downloaded it and confirmed that it contains a custom CvGameCoreDLL.dll file. That means it is automatically disqualified for the Mac. Sorry :(

that canada/usa war was in fact the war of 1812 british were the overlords of canada at the time and yes that was the 2nd and last time the americans fought against the british

I'm encountering a recurring problem with Rhye's and Fall as the American Empire during the late 18th Century. The game has hung on me twice. In addition, trying to start up by loading an "American" save file results in the game never getting past the globe with the rising and setting sun.

Anyone have any ideas?

It is fixed.. just read the Bug Reports in the development forum.

I would like to install this pack in my game but I hit a couple of snags with backing up files

From the Read me...

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - VANILLA CIV3
[B]Backup your Civilization III\art\terrain folder[/B]
did that..

and the following files:

[B]- destroy.pcx (located in \art\cities)[/B]
I cannot locate this pcx in the cities folder
[B]
- resources.pcx (located in \art)[/B]
In my game this is called resource . pcx.. Which file should I rename? (or is it a different file altogether?

Then unzip the files to your Civilization III main folder

I have the exact same error as AmericanCaesar, so its definitely not a fluke. I'm gonna post it in the bugs section on the forum

I DL'd it but some date during BC there is an action that freezes it and leaves it on the "waiting for other civilizations" screen. Whats wrong?

Don't even believe me but I wasn't hit by any plague in my whole gaming experience. I just see it on other rival cities.

18th century i'v been infected with plauge 4 times so far!!! each one right after I get my army up and running they are all destroyed by the plauge!!!!!:cry: Indian civilization I have even removed the jungles by all the cities!!! help!

Very cool Rhye. Just one thing. America's keep European colonies out of North America, Cenntral America, and Carridian is almost impossible because there is no such wonder as the Monroe Doctrine and there are no civilizations like Mexico or Cuba and Canada and if the US had to capture those cities it would not be like a real game.:(

I think that to make the game better, you should make it possible to start in the later game as civilizations like America, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

What exactly in Vanilla, is it for the first Civ 4?

i'm sick of hardly getting anything because i have a mac. :vomit: make a mac version so we can use it too, :mad:

How come when u play as some civs u cant switch to some other civs later?
Example: I play as Vikings and set up city at Kiev (Konugard in Norse) and move all units except 1 there. They were supposed to be the "Kievan 'Rus", but even though the Ruskies get the units (And Kiev!) I cant switch to them :(
